SBW MB-Slide

The MB-Slide and MB-Slide ST systems are engineered for the construction of thermally insulated sliding doors and windows. These solutions are suitable for a wide range of architectural applications, including brick walls, aluminium façades, conservatories (winter gardens), and storefront glazing. Their compatibility with systems such as MB-59S and MB-59S Casement allows for flexible integration into various building types.

A key visual advantage of sliding doors, especially those of larger dimensions, is their ability to open up interior spaces and create a seamless transition to outdoor areas like terraces or gardens—enhancing both space and natural light.

These systems offer a broad spectrum of design possibilities, ranging from 2- to 6-module configurations. Their construction is optimized for both performance and aesthetics, with thermal breaks and multi-level sealing elements that ensure energy efficiency and weather protection. The use of common profiles and components across Aluprof systems simplifies manufacturing and assembly, while also maintaining compliance with industry standards.

The main difference between the MB-Slide and MB-Slide ST lies in the profile structure and assembly method. MB-Slide uses 3-chamber profiles that are mitre-cut and joined using corner cleats, followed by mechanical kneading. Glazing is installed afterward using strips and gaskets. In contrast, MB-Slide ST utilizes single-chamber profiles, assembled by screwing vertical and horizontal members together, with glazing inserted during the frame assembly process.
