FIRE-RATED WINDOWS, DOORS AND PARTITION WALLS
The MB-86 EI is a thermally insulated system for fire-rated windows, doors, and partitions. It is designed for external fire compartments featuring operable windows, doors, and fixed partitions with primary fire ratings of EI30, EW30, and EI15, in accordance with the PN-EN 13501-2 standard.
Based on the MB-86N system, it offers high thermal and acoustic insulation, as well as excellent water- and airtightness. This system combines the advantages of a traditional window and door system with the fire compartment properties needed for thermal efficiency, durability, and advanced production technology. It not only meets all current regulations and standards for energy efficiency and environmental protection but also ensures proper fire safety. Additionally, the system is classified as ‘no fire spread’ (NRO).

Advantages of the MB-86 EI system:
- The profile features a triple-glazed structure, with the central section serving as an insulation area between thermal breaks of 43 or 42 mm.
- The system incorporates fire insulation elements inside the aluminum profiles, along with custom-designed accessories and materials that function in the space between the profiles and the glass.
- EI2-rated doors do not require fire insulation elements inside the aluminum profiles, making the prefabrication process faster and reducing construction costs. Inserts are required in the profiles for frames and transoms, and a wide range of glass thicknesses can be used, including double-glazing units.
- The standard hardware for MB-86 EI windows has an RC2 burglary resistance rating.
