Description
The MB-104 Passive is a thermal break-equipped window & door system that
provides the highest thermal insulation performance, and meets all the
requirements for passive building components.
The system is used to fabricate exterior architectural development elements,
e.g. various types of windows, doors, vestibules, and spatial structures,
which are characterized, in addition to the excellent thermal insulation, by a
very good sound insulation, water- and air tightness and high structural
strength.
The MB-104 Passive system’s profile construction comes in two variants,
depending on the requirements for thermal energy savings: SI and AERO
The MB-104 Passive -based door & window parameters exceed the current
requirements of the strictest applicable regulations and standards – that’s
why the MB-104 Passive system is dedicated to energy-efficient and passive
building.

- the MB-104 PASSIVE SI and MB-104 PASSIVE Aero windows and doors hold certificates from the Passive House Institute in Darmstadt, Germany
- high thermal insulation parameters Uw from 0.59 W/(m2K)* for windows and a UD starting at 0.66 W/(m2K) for doors***
- airtightness, watertightness and insulation parameters surpassing the applicable standards
- wide range of glazing, up to 81 mm allowing for triple and fourfold glazing units “Euro” grooves allow the fitting of most of the available hardware, both for aluminium and PVC windows
- can use surface, roller or concealed hinges
- expansion joint profiles for the door leaf
- 95 mm-wide threshold – the threshold and the frame have the same width

Was very impressed both by the service and the product. After a bad experience with a previous window company, which you could feel the draft coming through after one month of instalation, I was skeptical to try different company. I am thrilled I found SBW GROUP. I had my windows done in April 2024 and the quality is above my expectations. I was able to discuss all the details during a visit to their showroom, which simplified the situation as it was easier to communicate my preferences and requests.
